10. Can I use the system while I`m at home ?

Yes, if you  have areas of your property which you would like to protect whilst you are at home,  this can be discussed with the engineer or surveyor and the system can be programmed accordingly.

The most obvious one being setting the system at night to cover the downstairs of your property whilst you are able to move about freely upstairs.
